Project: Arcata City Inflow & Infiltration Reduction Phase 5 - Construction Project

Description: The project will include approximately 51,540 linear feet of sewer lining and laterals replacement. A total of approximately 2,970 feet of trench excavation and replacement of 750 lateral sewer lines are expected to occur during this project. The sewer main line lining work will be done from existing manholes, hence no additional digging or excavation for lining work. In addition, 40 manholes are expected to be spun grouted and two staging areas are to be utilized. The overall project is expected to provide a minimum lifetime of 30 years in controlling I/I flow entering the system.
