Project: Georgiana Slough Erosion Control and Riparian Bench Restoration (BA-17-1.0-SP), District BALMD Brannan-Andrus Island

Description: The proposed project will improve 1,600 feet (0.30 mile) of levee with waterside habitat enhancement, between Stations 290+00 and 306+00, along Georgiana Slough. The waterside habitat will be channel margin habitat with shaded riverine aquatic. The levee work, necessary to reestablish the existing PL84-99 standards, will include waterside slope repairs and revetment remediation, raising the levee crown, and adding fill to the landside slope.
