Project: TRVRP Brown Fill Restoration Project

Description: This project will create designs, complete environmental review, and permitting for future fill removal and restoration at the Brown Property in the Tijuana River Valley Regional Park (TRVRP). Funding will be use to conduct the necessary technical studies, design, and environmental review and documentation to restore the hydrology of the Tijuana River and habitat functions of the project area by the future removal of fill on and adjacent to the Brown Property. The purpose of this hydrological restoration is to reduce the need for channel maintenance, reduce flood risks, and channel erosion in the northern reach of the Tijuana River.
