Project: City of Grass Valley - Wolf Creek Stormwater Construction Project

Description: "The project will relocate an undersized and improperly positioned culvert to accommodate peak flows in Peabody Creek, reconnect flows with 1 acre of riparian floodplain habitat, and replace invasive vegetation with native plants on approximately 0.5 acres. The Project will provide additional urban green space in a severely disadvantaged community (SDAC) of the Wolf Creek Watershed in Grass Valley. Capture from ~45K SF impermeable surfaces; ~10K SF permeable pavers; two culverts; ~30K SF of riparian restoration including invasive removal. 500' new channel; 200' existing channel.
