Project: Patterson Tract CSD Meter Replacement System Upgrade - Planning Project

Description: The existing meters and service connections are unreliable. Existing meters are not accurate and service lines (galvanized iron pipe) are corroded and provide inadequate volume of water to the customer. The existing distribution system is asbestos cement pipe and over 50 years old. The system does not include any usable storage or reservoir. The existing wells were developed with open bottoms and have the potential to collapse, especially with the dropping aquifer levels and drought conditions. Recommended solutions are included in the Preliminary Engineering Report.
