Project: Trestle Forest Health Project

Description: This project will treat 270 acres of overly dense forest in El Dorado National Forest, directly adjacent to the community of Grizzly Flats. The project will be comprised exclusively of hand thinning and piling. The prescription is to remove most trees under 10 nches, leaving 5 trees per acre in the 4 to 10 inch range, and remove almost all trees and brush under 4 inches.
