The Recipient planning project will consist of providing pre-design engineering, site surveying, CEQA, plans & specification completion on proposed solution for Greenville. The objective is to renovate the water distribution system because of water loss being an estimated 30 million gallons annually. The water loss is due to the system pipes being in generally poor condition. The project completion will include engineering design for replacement of valves, services, meters, and pipe. The pre-design engineering will include an assessment of existing pipe material, location, and depth. An engineering report will be developed based on the information gathered from the project evaluation pre-design engineering. Once the selected alternative is chosen then CEQA/NEPA environmental documents and final plans & specifications will be prepared based on the selected construction project.
