Description: The proposed project entails planning, environmental, and design of several important water infrastructure improvements in the City including the following: -Installation of approximately 3,500 feet of an 8-inch bypass pipeline to convey water from South Weed to North Weed which has an insufficient water supply. Associated infrastructure would include installation of two supervisory valves. - Abandonment of existing undersized, leaking, and aging steel water mains that have exceeded their useful service lives and traverse under existing homes and businesses. Installation of new water services, and replacement of an undersized pressure reducing valve in the area. -Replacement of leaking old steel water mains and installation of sufficient isolation valves in the Bel Air Pressure Zone. -Installation of a 12-inch transmission main along Roseburg Parkway to replace an undersized main and bolster fire protection to the Angel Valley and Lincoln Heights areas.
