The existing redwood tank is approximately 60 years old and leaks consistently due to the age of the structure. The tank’s walls have deteriorated beyond repair. The construction project consists of replacing the existing redwood tank with a new 165,000-gallon storage tank, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) improvements. The tank will be designed in accordance with applicable standards.
