Project: Los Molinos CSD Arsenic Compliance & System Improvements - Planning Project

Description: Los Molinos Community Services District serves 1,500 customers through 352 service connections. This water system operates three groundwater wells to meet its drinking water demand. On January 2, 2009, California Department of Public Health, Division of Drinking Water and Environmental Management (now the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water) Valley District Office issued a Compliance Order No. 01-21-09(O)52001 to the water system for violating the arsenic primary drinking water standard. New Orchard Mobile Home Park serves 53 customers through 43 service connections. This water system operates two groundwater wells to meet its drinking water demand. On January 29, 2009, Tehama County Environmental issued a Compliance Order No. 01-21-09(02) to the water system for violating the arsenic primary drinking water standard. Millstream Mobile Home Park serves 80 customers through 53 service connections. This water system operates one groundwater well to meet its drinking water demand. On September 3, 2015, Division of Drinking Water, Valley District Office issued an amended Compliance Order No. 21-15R-007 to the water system for violating the arsenic chromium primary drinking water standard. Project: The construction project includes a production well (Well No. 5) within Los Molinos Community Services District service area and transmission pipeline to consolidate New Orchard Mobile Home Park and Millstream Mobile Home Park. Upon completion of the construction project, the two consolidated systems would not operate as public water systems.
