Project: South San Francisco Bay Salt Ponds Restoration Planning

Description: The funds will be used to provide a portion of the required cost-share on a US Army Corps of Engineers feasibility study assessing tidal flooding risks and habitat restoration opportunities in the South San Francisco Bay. The study involves hydrologic modeling, geotechnical investigations, construction estimates, biological evaluations, and CEQA/NEPA analysis that will help implement the flood protection and wetland restoration goals of the Conservancy’s South Bay Salt Pond Restoration project.
