Project: Anza-Borrego Desert State Park: Carrizo Creek Restoration

Description: This project will eradicate the invasive, non-native tamarisk tree from the Carrizo Creek watershed and restore natural functioning to a major wetland ecosystem and critically important desert riparian habitat within the Park. This project will implement control measures on the largest remaining stand of tamarisk in the 580,000 acre park.
