Project: Oroville Wildlife Area Flood Stage Reduction and Restoration Project

Description: This implementation project will reconnect the Feather River to its historic floodplain, increase frequency of floodplain inundation, create shallow floodplain habitat for fish, and enhance riparian habitat. The new connection will enhance accessibility to salmonid rearing habitat and reduce the stranding risk for juvenile salmonids on the Oroville Wildlife Area.
