The Laguna de Santa Rosa Wetland Complex (Laguna) has been designated both as a Wetland of International Importance and as an impaired waterbody under the Clean Water Act. The ultimate goal of the Project is to restore ecological functions to this wetland complex that have been lost as a result of far-reaching alterations to the Laguna watershed. Funding will be use for the development of a Master Restoration Plan for the Laguna-Mark West Creek watershed and Conceptual and Intermediate Design Plans, CEQA, and,Permit Applications or one or two High Priority Projects.
