Project: Bijou Park Creek Restoration Priority Acquisitions (Woodbine)

Description: Acquisition of APN 025-282-15 in the Bijou Park Creek Restoration area. This grant will fund acquisition costs based on fair market value, cost of relocation of tenants, demolition and removal of all structures and impervious areas, elimination of an existing storm water pipe and restoration of stream environment zone. Restoration of the property will consist of minor grading and site revegetation to maximize infiltration, enhance soil moisture and stabilize soils. Additional benefits include enhanced sensitive habitats, improved water quality and reduced problematic inundation. Acquisition of two additional parcels (APN's 027-113-33 and 027-113-35) which were included in the initial proposal. Grantee was able to reach agreement with willing sellers to acquire these two parcels within the project area.
