Project: San Joaquin Co OES Delta ER Grant Round 2

Description: Plans/Maps, SEMS/NIMS, Training, Exercises, Flood Fight Materials & Supplies. The objective of the Flood Emergency Response Grant is to improve local flood emergency response in California and contribute to increased public safety. This grant will be used for: - Update emergency operations plan and flood annex map - Conduct meetings and evaluate care and shelter needs - Provide basic and intermedate SEMS/NIMS training for staff - Conduct full-scale exercises encompassing key Incident Command principles - Develop video training courses for levee workers - Provide swift water rescue courses - Evaluate and acquire materials and resources for District stockpile system and place in long-term storage areas
