Project: Lower Deer Creek Flood and Ecosystem Improvement Project, Phase 1

Description: Objectives are to complete environmental documentation for the enhancement of salmonid adult passage, enhancement of juvenile rearing conditions, and improvements to the reliability of flood protection along lower Deer Creek in Tehama County. Funding will be use complete both California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation covering the entire project described as Alternative 2 in the 2011 Lower Deer Creek Restoration and Flood Management Feasibility Study.
