Project: Oak Run Well Replacement - Construction Project

Description: "On November 13, 2015, the Shasta County Environmental Health Division issued a compliance order to ORESD for violation of the total coliform MCL, and directed ORESD to drill a replacement well. The existing well does not have a 50-foot sanitary seal, does not meet the 50-foot minimum setback from sewer lines, and its proximity to the student bathroom’s sewer cleanout is believed to be the probable cause of the contamination. The Project includes the construction of a new well, pressure tank, and well house on the school grounds at a location which meets the required distance from nearby septic systems. A new well house will be constructed at the new location and power would be provided."
