The project will capture and treat polluted runoff from a drainage area along the street and downstream of Buena Vista Creek and provide additional urban green space by adding vegetation and trees to provide shade, carbon sequestration, and improved community public space for walking and recreation in the City of Vista. The project will enhance public use areas for the community by creating a safer, more sustainable and livable space with new affordable housing, a linear park, new businesses, infrastructure improvements, and public art.
