The City intends to expand its recycled water (RW) distribution system for landscape irrigation from the current 14 customers with 154 acre-feet/year (AFY) of RW use, by approximately 1,407 AFY to serve an additional 86 customers. Facilities to be constructed include an expanded RW pump station at the wastewater treatment plant, two 3.0-million gallon RW storage tanks, and 20,000 feet of new force main pipelines. Expanded RW use will reduce potable water use and increase potable water reliability.
