Project: Mill Creek Barrier Removal and Riparian Restoration Project in Talmage

Description: Mill Creek is designated as critical habitat for CCC ESU coho salmon, CCC DPS steelhead, and California Coastal ESU Chinook salmon. Funds for this Project will help restore habitat in Mill Creek, Russian River by removing vertical and velocity barriers and restoring favorable fish passage conditions to over 7 miles of spawning and rearing habitat, while retaining functional use of the stream crossing.
