Project: San Fernando Valley Stormwater Capture Project

Description: Grant to the City of Los Angeles for design, implementation and monitoring of the San Fernando Valley Stormwater Capture Project at five sites in the San Fernando Valley in the City of Los Angeles. The project consists of the installation of green infrastructure, including permeable paving, bioswales, trees, and infiltration galleries, within the public right-of-ways along five city streets. The primary purpose of the project is stormwater capture and infiltration to increase groundwater replenishment of the San Fernando Basin to advance water security, water self-reliance, and integrated water management goals.
