Description: Bond funds will be used to contract for professional facilitation and mediation services. The Coastal Conservancy will use these services for a number of ongoing projects to assist with the following: designing decision-making processes for complex, multi-jurisdictional habitat restoration projects; facilitating public meetings and hearings regarding environmental compliance and permitting; coordinating and conducting public outreach and education programs to disseminate information about future and ongoing projects. Projects for which these services will be used include, but are not limited to, the following: development of Bay Area Water Trail; Hamilton Wetlands Restoration Project; Bay Area Open Space Council strategic planning document.
