Project: Honey Lake Valley - Lahontan Basin Storm Water - Planning Project

Description: This project consists of preparing a Storm Water Resources Plan for the Lahontan Basins Region, under the direction of the Local IRWMP RWMG. The Plan will address Water Quality, Water Quantity, Flood Management and Environmental Benefits with a multi-jurisdictional, multi-beneficial focus. Currently, a formal storm water planning document does not exist for this area. The goal of this document will be to build upon the Region's successful history of collaboration on water resource management issues and develop the region's storm water resources management objectives. This planning document will analyze the effects of climate change on the region and recommend an implementation plan for moving the programs forward to achieve storm water objectives.
