Project: Ramona Gardens Natural Park and Boyle Heights Green Walking Connections

Description: Community Conservation Solutions (CCS) will plan and design a multi-benefit green infrastructure park (the Natural Park) at the Ramona Gardens Housing Development in the Boyle Heights neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County. The Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy (SMMC) is providing a grant of $100,000 to the Coastal Conservancy for the project. The Conservancy will be using the grant from the SMMC in addition to its own Prop 1 appropriation to grant to CCS for the completion of the project at Ramona Gardens Housing Development. The Coastal Conservancy will use Prop 1 funds to provide $100,000 in upfront expenditures and will be reimbursed by the SMMC grant. SMMC ABCRS Project Reference Number is 3810P841716.
