Project: Green Gulch Creek Water Conservation

Description: A planning grant to the San Francisco Zen Center to perform a water use efficiency analysis on Green Gulch Farm, evaluate alternative water supplies and management strategies and their impacts on streamflow in Green Gulch Creek, develop a conceptual design for recommended alternative(s), all of which should ultimately result in future implementation of both short-term and long-term measures that will result in more reliable summer streamflow to mitigate changing climate conditions and the possibility of prolonged and future droughts on Green Gulch Creek, in Marin County.
