Project: Upper Butte Basin Wildlife Area Engineering Study

Description: A grant to Ducks Unlimited for a cooperative project with California Department of Fish and Wildlife to conduct an engineering assessment of the water conveyance systems on the entire 9,692-acre UBBWA Upper Butte Basin Wildlife Area to develop a conceptual plan for the comprehensive upgrade of the water conveyance system, and to improve water use efficiency, water and habitat management and public wildlife-oriented recreational opportunities, located approximately 11 miles west of Highway 99 on Highway 162 Butte County.
