Project: Lukins Brothers Water Company Treatment Upgrades - Planning Project

Description: The scope of the project will include preparation of plans and specifications and environmental documentation for a granular activated carbon treatment system to address the PCE contamination in Lukins Bros WC water system. Other items included will be project management and the reimbursement of a preliminary engineering report (PER). The PER was completed as a result of the compliance order and has already been reviewed and approved by the Sacramento District Office. After discussions with the Sacramento District Office, for the sake of operation simplicity, Lukins Bros WC decided to select the GAC Treatment alternative rather than the UV/Membrane Treatment alternative originally selected in the PER.
