Project: Los Angeles, City of- Griffith Park South Water Recycling Project

Description: The LADWP is expanding its existing recycled water system within the Central Los Angeles area with the Griffith Park South Water Recycling Project. The project will expand the existing water recycling system supplied by the Los Angeles-Glendale Water Reclamation Plant by extending the Greenbelt Water Recycling distribution line south to serve the Rosevelt Golf Course as its prime customer. The LA Department of Parks and Recs proposes to replace the original galvanizeed pipe irrigation system at the golf course with a new system that will be capable of delivering recycled water to all turf and landscape areas of the golf course. The project will provide 370 afy of recycled water for irrigation at the Golf Course and other potential future customers.
