Project: Pinole Creek Fish Passage Improvement

Description: The Conservancy provided a grant to the Contra Costa County Resource Conservation District to modify the existing 400-foot long, double-bay box culverts in Pinole Creek under Interstate Highway 80. The project will restore access to nearly 7 miles of documented quality spwaning and rearing habitat on the main stem of Pinole Creek for Central California Coast Steelhead.
