Project: Distribution System Improvements

Description: The Distribution System Improvement construction project replaces 26 manual control gates with automated control gates along with remote monitoring capability to provide system wide management and monitoring, and replaces over two miles of unlined earthen ditches with a pipeline to reduce seepage and provide the flexibility and infrastructure suitable for high efficiency irrigation systems. This project includes final design of all replacements, all work associated with reconstruction of head gates and pipe installations, and integration of automated controls into the existing SCADA system.
