Planning grant to support the work needed to make a determination about the regulatory feasibility of the Whitewater Preserve Flood Control Project. The Planning Grant covers a review of existing watershed studies and data, field investigations, conceptual hydrology and hydraulic analysis, further habitat assessment, preparation of conceptual project alternatives and meetings and coordination with government officials.
Determine the Flood Control Project’s feasibility, overall habitat impact and sources of funding for the ultimate construction budget. The Planning Grant is designed to collect that information so that an informed decision can be made about the Project, for a relatively small amount of money.
