Project: American Valley Community Services - Planning Project

Description: A significant amount of the District's wastewater collection system has been closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspected in recent years and deficiencies has been identified, with some mains being in critical condition. The District also experiences significant amounts of inflow and infiltration (I&I) due to high groundwater elevation and the deficient sewer mains. The critical condition of the sewer mains that contribute to I&I could pose health and safety risks if they were to fail, cause surcharge, and potentially cause uncontrolled overflows.
