Project: Fish Friendly Farming Certification Program for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta

Description: The project will develop the best management practices needed to adapt the Fish Friendly Farming (FFF) Program, a voluntary water quality improvement program for private landowners, to cover the crops currently grown in the Delta, adapt the current FFF Program farm templates for the Delta, conduct outreach and involve growers and agricultural organizations in the program developments, and enroll sites for implementation of the program. At the completion of this project, the FFF Certification Program will be ready for implementation in the Delta.
