Project: City of Colusa WTP Improvements - Construction Project

Description: The City of Colusa is proposing to complete several upgrades at their existing wastewater treatment plant to meet the nitrate requirement in their NPDES permit, eliminate leakage of untreated wastewater into groundwater, and effluent disposal options by developing reclamation on nearby farm lands. Improvements include upgrades to the secondary treatment process, minor improvements to existing sludge drying beds to improve drainage, conversion of abandoned treatment ponds to new storage ponds for reclaimed wastewater, and new pump and pipe elements to convey tertiary treated wastewater to nearby agricultural fields for seasonal reuse.
