Project: Amador Water Agency - Construction Project

Description: Amador Water Agency intends to add aluminum chlorohydrate (ACH) coagulation to reduce the levels of Total Organic Carbon, which will reduce levels of Disinfection Byproducts (DBP) throughout the distribution system and get the system back into compliance with the Stage 2 DBP rule. Amador Water Agency will also install a plate settler, a Deskins drying bed system, and a backwash recycle pump station to replace their existing backwash recovery skid. The plant will recycle 100% of its backwash, and Amador Water Agency will transfer its solid waste from the drying beds to a landfill.
