Westside tributary inflows play an importatnt role in Yolo Bypass inundation, so understanding the timing and magnitude of inflows is needed to dertermine their relative influence compared to larger inflows from the Fremont and Sacramento Weirs. Fundings for this Project will be use to collect important date that are needed to synthesize past and future hydrology datasets for the purposes of modeling existing conditions and to develope future management plans.
Objectives are to: 1) Fill in data gaps in Yolo Bypass westside tributary monitoring data, consistent with recommendations indentified in the 2014 Yolo Bypass Drainage and Water Infrastructure Study. 2) Create a proposal for knowledge transfer structures and protocals that reliably and securely share available data among State, Federal, and local agencies that develope solutions and planning for Yolo Bypass restoration and management.
