Project: City of Fresno- Raw Water Pipeline Project

Description: The City of Fresno intends to construct a 60-inch raw water pipeline from the Friant-Kern Canal to the Northeast Surface Water Treatment Facility. The new pipeline will replace the Enterprise Canal as the primary conveyance system for the plant?s source water supply, while the Enterprise Canal remains a backup supply. The alignment will travel about 24,000 feet (4.5 miles) from a new turnout and check structure on the Friant-Kern Canal to an existing 60-inch raw water pipeline just north of the Northeast facility along Willow Avenue.
