Project: South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project Phase 2 Implementation

Description: Funding for the second phase of implementation for the South Bay Salt Pond Restoration Project. Construction of Phase 2 improvements will include wetland restoration, managed pond enhancement, upland habitat creation, installation of public access and interpretative features, and flood protection improvements. Coastal Conservancy has received a $5,000,000 Prop 1 grant from CA Department of Fish and Wildlife for this project and will be receiving reimbursement for Prop 1 expenditures.
