The DACC will operate as a CSU statewide center under the CSU Chancellor's Office charter for the Water Resources and Policy Initiatives (WRPI). The WRPI acts as a representative of the CSU system, and the DACC has the support of the full CSU system. The DACC will be headquartered at the CSU San Bernardino (CSUSB) campus, which will also act as the DACC cost center. The CSUSB cost center allows for an approximate 12% indirect rate. The WRPI will release four competitive subcontracts to universities in California with the goal of having satellite DACC offices spread across the state in addition to the CSUSB headquarters. Four types of services will be provided by the DACC. These are: *Project Management *Direct technical assistance to DACs *Supplying paid interns to other groups that provide technical assistance *Observations, measurement, and dissemination of DAC knowledge base. The DACC will operate for three years under this proposed program.
