Project: Mattole Headwaters Streamflow Enhancement Implementation Project

Description: A grant to Sanctuary Forest Inc. for a cooperative project with Bureau of Land Management, California Conservation Corps, Natural Resource Conservation District. Bureau of Land Management, and the Bella Vista Foundation, for a wetland restoration on 3 acres on an upslope terrace along Baker Creek and forest thinning on approximately 23 acres along two reaches of the Mattole headwaters main stem and Mill Creek. Baker Creek, Mattole headwaters, and Mill Creek are located in Humboldt and Mendocino Counties, California. Sanctuary Forest Inc. and the Bureau of Land Management are the fee owners of the Property.
