Project: The Salinas River Arundo Eradication Project Phase III

Description: A grant to The Resource Conservation District of Monterey County for a cooperative project with RCD of Monterey County, Salinas River landowners and River Management Unit Associations (within and outside project area), Monterey County Water Resources Agency, and Monterey County Agricultural Commissioners Office to clear 350 acres of the invasive non-native plant Arundo donax (giant reed) on 15 river miles of the Salinas River, located in Monterey County, California.
