Project: Sand Hills Farm Acquisition (Elkhorn Slough)

Description: A Conservancy grant will support the acquisition of the Sand Hills Farm property by the Elkhorn Slough Foundation (ESF) near Moss Landing. This 107-acre farm is ESF’s highest priority conservation target in the Elkhorn watershed. It is the first phase of the land trust’s “Ridgeline to the Tideline Initiative,” undertaken in concert with the Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve.
