Project: Tijuana River Valley Regional Park Trails Project

Description: The proposed project would construct a trail along the route of an unofficial path within the Tijuana River Valley Regional Park. Once improved, the trail will provide a link between the recently completed Dairy Mart Ponds Loop trail and the Baseball Interpretive Loop trail. These trails link into the greater trail system of the Tijuana River Valley and provide residents of the communities of San Ysidro and Nestor with non-vehicular access opportunities to connect to the west with Border Fields State Park, the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve, the California Coastal Trail and the Bayshore Bikeway.
