Project: Sustainable Groundwater Management Act Readiness Project

Description: The purpose of this project is to facilitate basin-wide sustainable groundwater management by improving monitoring ahead of GSP development and improving the ability of the county to participate in GSA formation activities. This project includes the following tasks: conduct a county-wide monitoring assessment, conduct a water budget assessment, develop a groundwater monitoring plan, provide technical support for GSA/GSP formation, implement a groundwater ordinance to improve the management of the county's groundwater resources.
