Project: Orick Mill Site Planning

Description: Grant to the Save-the-Redwoods League (SRL) to prepare plans and designs for habitat enhancement projects and public access facilities for the former Orick Mill Site in Humboldt County. The mill site is located at the confluence of Redwood Creek and Prairie Creek and is nearly surrounded by Redwood National and State Parks (RNSP). SRL purchased the property in 2013 and will implement restoration and public assess improvements in time for its centennial in 2018.
