This project will develop sea-level rise adaptation strategies and a decision-support tool to support restoration and management of tidal wetlands in Southern California. Specific tasks for this project will include defining contemporary wetland archetypes, developing a matrix of climate change tools applicable to wetland archetypes in Southern California and sample outputs from selected tools, and completing a decision-support tool. Meetings with the project team and the Science Advisory Panel (SAP) of the Wetlands Recovery Project, held approximately quarterly, will be the vehicle for review, input and collaboration on the project deliverables.
