Objective: To further planning for the impacts of sea-level rise caused by changing storm patterns at some of the communities on the Sonoma County Coast at relatively high risk of impact from sea-level rise, which include Bodega Bay, Duncans Mills, Gleason Beach, Jenner, and Valley Ford: 1) identify the location and extent of, and water elevation at, those areas inundated as a result of sea-level rise; 2) assess the vulnerability to sea-level rise impacts of the habitats, land uses, and development in these areas; and 3) develop adaptation measures and strategies to minimize sea-level rise impacts on these habitats, land uses, and development.
