Project: D.L. Bliss State Park: Restoration forest- burn prep bliss gateway

Description: Implement forest thinning and fuel reduction on 23 acres around the main entrance into D. L. Bliss State Park. Treatment will include high profile portions of a prescribed fire burn plot burned in 1994. Restoration of native forest composition and structure will provide for wildlife habitat, visitor safety and aesthetics. Project will prepare for and implement prescribed fire for long term forest restoration and protection of natural resources.
