Project: American River Watershed, Common Features Natomas Basin

Description: Levee improvements around the Natomas Basin include installing seepage cutoff walls, seepage berms, and mitigation efforts. 42 miles of levee will be improved to return the levees to a condition certifiable for FEMA purposes, and will provide a minimum of 200-year level of protection to the basin. Total project amount includes State support costs for project implementation.
